Come “Chart Your Course” with us at our Tropical Themed 2024 New England Fellowship (NEF), a section-wide event where we invite all our members to join us in a weekend full of fun fellowship, training, and shows. During our annual NEF, we have training opportunities and fun activities for all our members, no matter their activity level, to participate. Camp Hinds is located on over 300 acres of land on Panther Pond in Raymond, Maine. Less than an hour outside of Portland, Panther Pond is part of the Sebago Lakes Region of Maine. Founded in 1927, Camp Hinds has a number of facilities and buildings including a new dining hall, health lodge, recreation hall, trading post, craftshop, high and low ropes courses and three waterfront areas. Several buildings are used for year round, when not serving as a summer camp, various Scout units and the order of the arrow can be found utilizing its many campsites and buildings throughout the fall, winter, and spring months. |
The Return of the E19 cup!
At NEF 2024, the 8 lodges of Section E19 will compete throughout the whole weekend for the ultimate glory of taking home the E19 cup. Lodges will earn points by winning different competitions split up into 4 field events, 6 assorted tournaments, 3 bonus events, and 1 giant relay race.Field Events
The 4 field events will be high energy and for everyone to spectate in the Camp Hinds sports field! The events will be:– Wixchixen
– Tug of War
– Ultimate Frisbee
– Capture the Flag
Assorted Tournaments
These 6 tournaments will be scattered across Camp Hinds, your lodge will need to find competitors to compete in each event to amass their points for the weekend:– Gaga Ball
– Chess
– Checkers
– Ping Pong
– Cornhole
– Fooseball
Bonus Events
Our three bonus events will give your lodge the opportunity to collect some extra points throughout NEF. The events will be:– Limbo

– Lodge Officer Mario Kart
The Relay Race
The biggest single component of the E19 CUP will span across the entire camp. Stay tuned for the Relay Race details.Training is an integral part of NEF, bringing you the opportunity to learn skills ranging from cooking to leadership that you can use in your every day life!

Admonition Pillars Take a deep dive into the meaning of the four pillars of the Admonition through interactive trainings with your peers! Lodge Development Series Tackle problems facing Lodges across the Section with fellow leaders trying to best work towards Election and Retention Rates, Inclusion, and Communicating Your Visions. Communications Series Learn how to communicate through several mediums including Social Media, Presentations, and with your advisers in this crash course series. Team Development Work with some of our best leaders to develop new strategies to Build your Team, Resolve Conflicts, and make lasting impacts on our arrowmen. |
